Predators hunt because they must. Prey remain vigilant because they have no choice. Neither is villain nor victim; both are participants in an ancient balance that has shaped these landscapes for millennia.
The Long Grass is a study of endurance, not as heroism, but as something quieter. It is the resilience to raise a family in a dangerous world, to continue teaching, exploring and resting, knowing that uncertainty is part of every day. It is an observation of life's remarkable ability to persist, finding moments of peace within a landscape where death is never far away.
